Before Allison's diagnosis in April 2017, she knew things were not right. She was making silly mistakes and not coping with every day tasks. She had been to her GP a few times, but still knew things were not right. It was at this point that she was referred to a consultant and after a few visit’s over an 18-month period, was diagnosed with having Alzheimer’s disease.
